Hello, As a newbee to this site and definitely to writing code, I post my first filter. In my own words:" I look for stocks that are about to break out on the upside, because there is more mony flowing in, because the MA(15) is crossed today, because the volume is increasing, because the stoch is oversold and picking up. In this voatile times, I dont want to hang on too long. (i trade CFD's and that is not the kind of product for the long term) So here is my filter: he returns few, sometimes none, but those selected go up in the next day or two. Please feel free to comment.

and Show stocks where MACD Fast Line(12,26,9) crossed above MACD Slow Line(12,26,9) in the last 3 days
and close is above 15.00
and average volume(30) is above 300000
and draw Average Volume(30)
and draw RSI(14) line at 30
and OBV has been increasing for 1 days
and MFI has been increasing for 2 days
and draw MA(15)
and draw MA(3)
and MA(15) is below close today
and MA(15) is above open today
and 3 day slope of MA(15)is above 0

Thanks for sharing your filter. The three hits (LRY, GNTX, KNX) all reported a great pop up the next morning. I'm very encouraged by its initial results and will certainly be testing it out. Again, thanks.

I would love to have a real-time alert with this indicator. Too many times the explosion is past tense when StockFetcher's delayed feed spits out the candidates.

i havent had success using this post market or pre market to find stocks, but it worked damn well for me today finding utiw during the afternoon.

Glad you could make 16% in one afternoon. I was out helping a friend to move. Made an appointment with my shrink to cure my Mother Theresa syndrom :)
